Refund and Cancellation Policies

1. HOUSE OF PHOTOS — PORTRAIT SESSIONS

CANCELLATION POLICY

All portrait session bookings are non-refundable, as your session time and team are secured exclusively for you. Clients may reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to respect other clients. Excessive lateness (20 minutes or more) may result in the session being marked as a no-show.

Sessions cancelled within 48 hours or missed entirely must be rebooked at full cost. If Mfonifie must cancel due to emergencies, a new date will be offered or a refund provided.

REFUND POLICY

All session fees are non-refundable under any circumstances including change of mind, personal emergencies, dissatisfaction caused by styling choices, or weather issues. Refunds are only issued if Mfonifie cancels and cannot offer an alternative date. Refunds do not apply to dissatisfaction related to personal appearance or unrealistic expectations.

PRIVACY POLICY

All captured images are treated with strict confidentiality. Mfonifie will not share or use your images for marketing unless you give written consent. BTS content may not include other clients or minors without permission. Personal information is stored securely and used only for booking, communication, invoicing, and image delivery.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Clients must arrive camera-ready (hair, makeup, outfits fully done). Children must be accompanied by a guardian. Mfonifie is not responsible for lost or forgotten items, wardrobe malfunctions, or allergic reactions. Clients are responsible for damages to equipment, props, or studio furniture.The studio must be kept clean; cleaning fees apply for spills, stains, glitter, or excessive mess.

The photographer may end a session early if clients are uncooperative or abusive.

Final edited images are delivered according to the selected package; raw files are not

provided.

2. HOUSE OF PHOTOS — WEDDING SESSIONS

CANCELLATION POLICY

A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your date. If cancellation occurs within one week of the wedding, the full remaining balance is still payable. If Mfonifie cancels due to emergencies, a full refund will be issued and assistance provided to find a replacement.

Wedding dates may be rescheduled subject to availability; if the new date is unavailable, cancellation terms apply.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are not issued for change of mind, delays caused by the bridal party, dissatisfaction due to lighting conditions, crowd interference, venue restrictions, or lack of cooperation. Refunds apply only if Mfonifie cancels and no replacement can be arranged.

Refunds do not cover travel or accommodation already booked.

PRIVACY POLICY

All images and videos remain under Mfonifie’s copyright ownership. Clients receive a personal non-commercial license for printing and sharing. Selected images may be used for portfolio, website, or advertising unless the client opts out in writing before the wedding.

Client information is kept private and used only for communication and delivery.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Coverage follows the agreed package including hours, photographers, and locations. The client must provide a detailed timeline, gate passes, and access to preparation spaces. Preparation rooms must be well-lit, uncluttered, and safe. Shot requests are welcomed but not guaranteed due to lighting, timeline, or environmental restrictions. The photographer maintains creative control.

Out-of-town weddings require transport, meals, and hotel accommodation for the team.Additional event-related costs such as parking and venue fees must be reimbursed. Mfonifie is not liable for delays caused by weather, venue rules, or guest interference. Force majeure applies.

3. MFONIFIE STUDIOS — STUDIO RENTAL

CANCELLATION POLICY

All studio rental payments are strictly non-refundable. One free rescheduling is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Late cancellations or no-shows require a full new booking. If Mfonifie cancels due to emergencies or maintenance issues, a refund or new date will be provided.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are not issued for change of mind, personal emergencies, lateness, dissatisfaction, or inability to use certain props. Refunds apply only if the studio cancels and cannot reschedule. Refunds do not cover losses related to decorators, makeup artists, or transport arrangements.

PRIVACY POLICY

BTS content is only permitted within your assigned studio space. Recording other clients, photographers, or minors without consent is prohibited. Studio layout, sets, and internal operations are confidential. Client data is used solely for communication and invoicing.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

All setup, shooting, and cleanup must occur within your booked time. Extensions are billed separately and provided only if the schedule allows. Food and drinks are allowed only in the reception area. Pets are not allowed. Renters are responsible for damages to lighting, backdrops, furniture, or props.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Cleaning fees apply for spills, stains, glitter, or heavy mess.

Large furniture or set pieces may not be moved without permission.

Studio equipment may not be used outside the assigned shooting area.
